I have finished a commissioned painting based on Pose (Read more about Pose* HERE.) This piece was very fulfilling to create. I chose a different dancer/pose and incorporated some distinct textural materials. The client chose the original painting ‘Pose’ for me to work from but, also allowed me freedom to explore new elements within this piece.   It has turned out to be one of my favorites. I think the metallic paints give it a special quality just like it’s sister painting ‘Pose’.
