Love Stoned

The inspiration for this piece was a modern take on a painting by Frederic Leighton titled ‘The Fisherman and the Siren.’ ‘Love Stoned’ was created shortly after “Awakening June,’ which was also influenced by Leighton’s work. The couple’s stance of falling into each others arms, the continuous swirls of layers, and the dominant blue colors all represent the figures passion and love for each other.
